I keep thinking our cats are small. And then they do something like Addy streching out on our couch. Admittedly it is only a love seat but she is still very close to being as long as the couch.

BBQ for Birthday

One of our presents for our birthdays was a BBQ. We'd been talking about investing in one for years and were looking forward to doing some FAST cooking for a change. Our kitchen works quite well but the quick application of intense heat is not one of its strengths.

Here's our first grill project, some steaks. They turned out fairly tasty but bright pink. It turned out to be a non-toxic combustion reaction.

Then we created quite honestly THE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD. It must have been all the planets in alignment because we've cooked burgers again and they were good but not GOOOOOOOOD, like those were. Ben did some magic with the seasoning which shouldn't be a surprise.
